Bertha Williams
Chief Financial Officer
Bertha Williams got her first name from her grandmother, Bertha Taylor. And, like her grandmother, she believes in doing right, because it’s right, and doing it right. Bertha joined the U.S. Army after high school and served faithfully for over 11 years. She was promoted from Private to Sergeant in under two years. As a military intelligence analyst, she operated within the highest levels of the U.S. government. She received numerous awards including a Meritorious Service Medal for her work in the 470th M.I. Brigade as part of USSOUTHCOM.
Upon leaving the U.S. Army in 1997, Bertha worked for Collarini Engineering and Collarini Energy Staffing (FKA Petro-Temps), where she rose from receptionist to eventually become the Vice President of Collarini Energy Staffing. During her tenure at Collarini, Bertha capitalized on her military leadership background to grow and develop the most profitable recruiting team at the agency. As Vice President, she supported both the President and the CEO while overseeing a staff of 12 personnel.
Bertha is an advocate of financial education and planning and has taught personal finance as a volunteer for almost 10 years. In addition to assisting her immediate family members, she has counseled hundreds of individuals through church and other community initiatives. She graduated from the University of Phoenix with a bachelor’s degree in Business Administration and has a background in real estate, insurance, and finance.
